As a Unitarian Universalist minister, I am also committed to serving Unitarian Universalism beyond the walls of a local congregation. I regularly attend local gatherings of the UU Ministers Association. I have served in some capacity within UU scholarly circles since becoming a minister, including teaching UU Polity to new ministers. (see "Scholarship and Teaching") I have provided technical and publicity support to a group fundraising effort to repair and renew William Ellery Channing's monument. I also provide technical support to the U/UU International Reckoning project. I also created a 40-Something UU Women Ministers group on Facebook that offers mutual support throughout the year, convening in-person at GA (see photo, left). During Covid, I became a resource to a number of colleague about technology needed to create multi-platform services. In these ways and more, I seek to not only foster vitality within a local congregation but within the larger UU world as well.
